Basic Rider Course

  • This course is $190 and is designed for new riders, return riders, or experienced riders who have have never taken a course and want to identify bad habits and refine their skills. This class can also qualify for insurance discounts, discounts at dealerships, and waive the driving portion of your motorcycle license exam.

We introduce the basic controls: throttle, clutch, brakes, and work up through the advanced survival skills of braking, cornering, and swerving.

Requirements for students under 18 years old.

Course Materials that will be provided for you:

All books, study material, motorcycle, helmet and gloves.

Equipment You MUST Provide (for the Riding Days):

  • On time arrival at ALL classes
  • Long Sleeve Shirt or Jacket
  • Full Length Pants
  • Over the Ankle Boots OR
  • Over the Ankle Shoes
  • Eye Protection (Eyeglasses or Sunglasses)
  • Water
  • Snack

If you already have riding gear, please bring it. The headgear must be DOT approved.

Completion of this course:

  • Can waive DPS requirements for the riding portion of the motorcycle license exam.
  • Can also earn a 10-15% discount on individual's insurance premiums.
  • Local merchants extend a 10-15% discount to graduates of our course. See our pages to find out more.

Advanced Rider Course

This course costs $100 and is approximately 7 hours - it consists of advanced riding skills training on the range.

The Advanced Rider Course is designed for the rider who has 2000 miles or more experience. The Experienced Rider Course teaches advanced street survival skills.

The class may count for defensive driving, insurance discount, dealership discount and tuition reimbursement from some motorocycle manufacturers.

Items provided for course: all books and study material.

You MUST provide : On time arrival at ALL classes, A registered, Insured SAFE Motorcycle, DOT approved headgear, eye protection , Full finger gloves, long Sleeve shirt or jacket, full length pants, and over the ankle boots.

Private Lessons
